“I got to know Olaf while I was working for Organon, works council elections ahead. Olaf was one of the candidates we had in mind as potential new member. A good relationship was immediately established and it turned out that Olaf could incredibly well get along with everyone, whether manager or blue-collar worker. His open attitude, but also his sense of humor makes him easy to approach. In preparation to the elections, Olaf knew how to ask the right questions. He is rational, practical and respectful in his approach. He kept agreed arrangements and always followed up on items. Within the group he knew how to differentiate himself by his interest, not only in work but also the person behind. Due to the upcoming merger with Schering-Plough, Olaf had to shift focus and pull back his candidacy. Due to Olaf being very attentive, we nevertheless kept in touch. He often helped me in making the right choices by asking the right questions and providing advice. He is able to break down complex questions into comprehensible pieces, and still, I thankfully am benefitting from this quality. “
